Meet Lexi McDaniel

Lexi McDaniel is an infielder for the University of Oklahoma Softball program whose powerful freshman campaign quickly established her as one of the Sooners’ most exciting young players.

During her 2026 freshman season, Lexi appeared in 56 games and made 24 starts, hitting an impressive .424 with 11 home runs, 34 RBIs and 30 runs scored, while posting a .482 on-base percentage and .788 slugging percentage.

Known for delivering in big moments, Lexi led Oklahoma with four pinch-hit home runs and eight pinch-hit RBIs, including a three-run home run against Mississippi State in the NCAA Super Regionals. Her breakout performances earned her recognition as both SEC Freshman of the Week and D1Softball National Freshman of the Week.

Versatile in the field and dangerous at the plate, Lexi has already proven she can make an impact wherever she’s needed. With a standout freshman season behind her, she enters her sophomore year at Oklahoma ready to continue building her legacy in Norman.
